In the field of dressing and smelting, the dressing and smelting center has small-scale experiments such as fully-equipped flotation, re-separation, magnetic separation, chemical beneficiation, and metallurgical tests. The test building covers an area of 2,660 square meters.

Over the years, the selection and smelting center has obtained a large number of scientific research results and applied for 7 patents. In the research field of mechanical dressing of black rock series vanadium ore and the research of non-polluting chemical vanadium extraction, the dressing of difficult-to-molybdenum molybdenum ore, the research field of beneficiation of various metal copper sulfide lead-zinc ores containing carbon fine particles, tailings, Important achievements have been made in mining development and comprehensive utilization, such as comprehensive utilization of metal ores.

The rock and mineral identification laboratory is fully equipped, equipped with FEI's automatic mineral analysis system (MLA) and supporting facilities, Bruker's D8 ADVANCE X-ray diffractometer, Zeiss Axioskop 40 A Pol polarizing microscope, Leica polarizing microscope and UK LINKAM geological cold and hot station THMSG600, and laser particle size analyzer and other advanced analysis and testing equipment at home and abroad more than 20 sets. In recent years, a lot of research work has been carried out in conjunction with geological research and ore dressing processes, involving dozens of minerals such as nonferrous metals, blacks, rare earths, and precious metals.

The beneficiation and smelting center has a 1,500-square-meter expanded continuous beneficiation test workshop. It is the largest beneficiation and smelting pilot plant in Northwest China. Dozens (sets) of equipment such as crusher, rotary kiln, leaching irrigation, muffle furnace, box-type resistance furnace, etc., have the conditions to undertake ore dressing and hydrometallurgical projects.

Shaanxi Provincial Mineral Resources Comprehensive Utilization Engineering Technology Research Center will mainly focus on the occurrence status of mineral resources in Shaanxi Province, and carry out complex and associated mineral resources such as nonferrous metals, low-grade ferrous metals, carbon-containing high sulfur and high arsenic precious metals, and black rock vanadium ore Comprehensive use of technology to solve key problems, extract as much valuable minerals as possible; research and develop a certain scale tailings valuable element recovery technology demonstration production line to improve the utilization of mineral resources.

It can test more than 70 kinds of elements and analyze 106 items.
