The complete chrome washing system typically includes: Rotary scrubber · Jigging machine · Vibrating table · Three-disc electromagnetic separator · Slurry pump · Belt conveyor.

Working Principle

Raw chrome ore is first fed into the jaw crusher for primary crushing. The crushed ore is transferred to a ball mill for fine grinding to 0.03–0.2 mm, ideal for spiral chute separation. The spiral chute serves as a roughing unit to increase the chrome grade, while shaking tables act as the final concentrators for better-grade chrome concentrate.

Cleaning & Classification

Thickener concentrates the slurry → Dryer removes moisture → Dry ore is ready for direct use or regrinding.

Chrome Processing Technology

Gravity Separation: Crushing & grinding → Spiral classifier → Jig machine → Shaking table → Spiral chute sorting.
Flotation: After screening, slurry enters flotation cell; concentrates are dewatered.
Magnetic Separation: Removes magnetic components before or after gravity separation.
Dewatering: Final concentrate is thickened and dried for direct use or further upgrading.
