
Product Overview
The Gold CIP (Carbon in Pulp) Processing Plant is designed for high-efficiency gold extraction from cyanide slurry using activated carbon. This process integrates slurry preparation, cyanide leaching, carbon adsorption, gold desorption, electrolytic deposition, gold melting, and carbon regeneration. With a proven and reliable technology, the CIP system is widely used in modern gold beneficiation plants to maximize gold recovery while maintaining continuous and stable operation.
Key Stages of the CIP Process
Preparation of Leaching Slurry
Wood chips and impurities are removed to prevent gold adsorption on waste materials and to avoid carbon screen blockages.
Concentration Before Leaching
The pulp is thickened to the optimal concentration, ensuring proper leaching time and maintaining activated carbon suspension.
High-Efficiency Leaching
Ore slurry is pumped through 5–8 leaching tanks. Cyanide is added in the first tanks, while activated carbon is added in the last ones for countercurrent adsorption. Gold is adsorbed onto carbon, forming gold-loaded carbon.
Desorption & Electrolytic Deposition
Under high temperature and pressure, gold is stripped from activated carbon and deposited as gold mud using an electrolytic system.
Gold Mud Processing
After impurity removal, the gold mud is melted into gold ingots with purity up to 99.99% through hydrometallurgy.
Recycling of Activated Carbon
Carbon is acid-washed and thermally reactivated after several cycles, restoring adsorption ability for reuse.
