The surface phenomena of "full grinding" and "balling" of the ball mill are very similar. The grinding sound is dull, the running current of the mill is reduced, the output of the ball mill is greatly reduced, the grate of the partition board is blocked by the material, and the grinding body, liner and partition are blocked. A large amount of materials adhere to the warehouse board. But they also have differences:
When "full grinding", the grinding material is damp, there is a lot of water dripping under the exhaust pipe of the grinding tail (open-circuit grinding), and the dust collector is condensed;
When "balling", the temperature of the grinding material and gas is high, water vapor is emitted from the ball mill tail sieve, and there are flake-like materials in the product. At the same time, the temperature of the large tile at the exit of the mill is very high, and the grinding cement is sticky.
Different reasons
"Ball ball" reasons:
1. The temperature of the material entering the mill is too high, or the material stays in the mill for too long, or the ventilation is poor, the temperature in the mill is too high, static electricity will be generated, and the fine material powder will be adsorbed on the surface of the grinding body and cause balling;
2. The material entering the grinding is too dry and the moisture is too little, and the fine material powder is easy to generate static electricity and adhere to the surface of the grinding body;
3. The air duct is blocked, the ventilation is poor, and the heat in the mill cannot be discharged in time, which will also cause the material in the mill to become too high in temperature and cause the phenomenon of "ballooning".
Reasons for "satisfaction":
1. Too much feed, the grinding capacity of the grinding body cannot be adapted;
2. The granularity of the material entering the mill becomes larger or the grindability becomes worse, and the feeding amount is not reduced in time;
3. The water content of the incoming grinding material is too high and the ventilation is poor. At the same time, the wet material also blocks the gap between the partition board and the discharge grate board, causing difficulty in discharging;
4. The grate seam of the partition board is blocked by iron scraps and debris.
