Amine flotation
Flotation with amines as collectors is a common flotation method for non-ferrous metal oxide ores (copper, lead and zinc oxide ores), which is suitable for the treatment of malachite, chalcopyrite, chalcopyrite, etc.
Copper oxidized ore can be collected with amines, but they have poor selectivity and can also collect many gangues, so desliming must often be done in advance. A pre-desliming process, however, will cause copper loss in copper argillaceous oxidized ore. Thus, the key to the amine method is finding effective inhibitors of gangue. Gangue can be inhibited with a variety of substances, including seaweed powder, lignosulfonate or cellulose lignosulfonate, polyacrylic acid, etc.
