Tin Ore Features
Tin ore has the characteristics of stable properties, good ductility, corrosion resistance, and low friction coefficient. Therefore it is widely used in modern industry, national defense and other fields.
Beneficiation method
Reselection + magnetic separation
Due to the characteristics of the density of tin ore is greater than the symbiotic mineral.
But tin ore is often accompanied by iron oxide minerals such as magnetite and hematite. Therefore, in the beneficiation method, the method of reselection + magnetic separation is generally used.
Beneficiation process
Ore washing and desliming
For raw materials with large mud content and strong cementation. Before the crushing, the raw materials are subjected to ore washing and desliming treatment.
Crushing and screening
Using jaw crusher and hammer crusher, the raw ore is crushed to a particle size below 20mm.
Then it is divided into two grain sizes of 0-4mm and 4-20mm by a vibrating screen.Preselection phase
After crushing and screening, it must enter the preselection stage. First, 4-20mm ore must be preselected with a heavy medium cyclone, and then enter a stage of grinding. After grinding, the jig and vibrating screen are used to further select the screen. 2mm, -2mm and then use the shaker to select the concentrate, and + 2mm becomes the tailings.
Flotation
The flotation stage is divided into two steps: mixed flotation and separation flotation. First of all, we must carry out mixed flotation of the concentrate selected by the jig and shaker. The selected concentrate is then subjected to lead and zinc separation and flotation. The ore is selected through a shaker to qualify tin concentrate.
Gravity
The slime enters the Φ300mm cyclone, and the overflow passes through the Φ125mm and Φ75mm hydrocyclone units to remove the fine mud. The sand is concentrated, and the flotation is desulfurized before the cassiterite flotation.
