Why Is Heap Leaching the Best Process for Oxide Gold Ore Separation?

We are discussing a gold processing plant with customer in Australia. Their gold ore is oxide and they have done some test for the gold ore. By doing the test, the customer found good gold liberation without fine grinding. The most effective liberation was in the -25mm to +12.5mm size fraction, where gold recovery reached up to 90.4% via cyanidation.

Based on this information, we think the heap leaching method is very suitable for this gold ore. For heap leaching, we don't need to grind the ore. So the -25mm to +12.5mm size which can get good gold liberation is very suitable size.

The customer also requires no native land disturbance when build the processing plant, then heap leaching is also the most suitable method. For heap leaching plant, we build it on the ground and we use the geomembrane for the waterproof layer for the heap.
