3. Matters needing attention in feeder
(1) Prevent iron from entering the crushing chamber. Iron blocks may damage jaw plates and other parts.
(2) The height of ore should not exceed the fixed jaw plate.
(3) The maximum ore size should be smaller than the feed port size of jaw crusher. Large ore is easy to block the crushing chamber and affect the crushing efficiency.

4. Set a reasonable discharge port size
The setting of discharge port is to adjust the distance between the two jaw plates at the lower end of the crushing chamber. The adjustable range of discharge port for different types of equipment is different. Too small discharge port will cause blockage and excessive energy consumption, resulting in serious damage to the crusher. The excessive discharge port will aggravate the load of the second crushing.

When measuring the set distance, attention should be paid to the position of the eccentric axis above, so that the lower end of the fixed jaw plate and the lower end of the movable jaw plate are in the closest position. In this position, the maximum diameter of a circle tangential to the two jaw plates is measured, and the circle represents the size of the ore. The measuring device uses a ring gauge supplied by a randomizer. After adjusting, the tension spring can not compress too much, so we must avoid the close row of springs. The supporting rod and tension spring are both subjected to fatigue stress and should be replaced within 2-3 years. |
