Cobalt often exists as sulfides and arsenides. Cobalt-containing minerals mainly include: cobalt-containing pyrite, arsenite (CoAsS), sulphur-cobaltite (C03S4), etc., in addition to sulphur-nickel-cobalt ore [(NiCO)3S4], sulphur-copper-cobalt ore (C02CuS4) Wait. A certain copper-cobalt ore is a veinlet disseminated copper-cobalt ore. The mineral composition of the ore is relatively simple. Except for cobalt-containing pyrite, chalcopyrite and some pyrrhotite, there are few other metal minerals. Non-metallic minerals include quartz, calcite, sericite and so on. The average grade of the beneficiation stone contains 4% sulfur, 0.8% copper and 0.02% cobalt, and has a low oxidation rate. It is a low-sulfur easy beneficiation ore. The ore dressing plant uses priority float copper, the copper tailings are dewatered by a thickener and then cobalt (pyrite) is recovered in the process of recovering copper and cobalt.

The characteristics of the flotation plant are:
(1) The copper flotation cycle adopts a separate beneficiation process, that is, the coarse concentrate that floats from the first two tanks of the roughing is selected once to obtain the final copper concentrate, and the coarse concentrate that emerges later is selected twice to obtain the final concentrate. mine.
(2) The selective collector ether thioester (collector 234) is combined with the foaming agent phenethyl oil for the separation of copper-cobalt pyrite, which is compared with the original butyl xanthate and pyridine prescriptions Under the premise of maintaining the copper index, the cobalt recovery rate is increased by about 10%, the lime consumption is reduced from 4kg/t to 2~3kg/t, and the cobalt is selected without sulfuric acid activation.
