(1) Large-scale and extra large-scale beneficiation plants mostly choose aerated mechanical agitated flotation machines, such as those similar to Denver DR and CHF-X. The main starting point is that the aeration volume of this model can be adjusted and will not change due to the tank. It is difficult to inhale after large, which makes the volume of air per unit volume relatively small and affects the selection index.
However, when the ore is easy to select and the aeration amount is not large, a mechanical stirring flotation machine may be considered. Such as a flotation machine similar to the Vimco type. For coarse-grained minerals, consider a floater similar to the OK type.
(2) Most small and medium flotation plants mainly use mechanical agitation flotation machines, such as XJZ type and SF type, to give full play to the advantages of less auxiliary equipment and simple operation and maintenance of mechanical agitation flotation machine. XJ flotation machine can also be used when the gas demand for select operations is not high.
(3) The enlargement of flotation equipment is a requirement for the construction of large-scale beneficiation plants, instead of requiring small-scale beneficiation plants to switch to large-scale flotation machines.
(4) In the case of high mineral content, easy selection, fine particle size selection, and low slurry pH, a flotation column can be used because of its high enrichment ratio, which is especially ideal for beneficiation operations. When using a flotation column, a certain scale of testing must be passed, and professional design is required.
(5) The design parameters and manufacturing quality of the flotation machine are necessary conditions to ensure the normal operation of the flotation operation, and equipment selection must be given sufficient attention. In the current situation in China where there are many models, careful analysis and investigation should be made when selecting models.
