In nature, easily beneficiated oxidized gold deposits are abundant on the surface and in the soil. Because of their low overall beneficiation cost, they are highly favored by mining companies.
Easily processed oxidized gold ores have the following notable characteristics:
- Highly weathered
- With few sulfides
- Abundant free gold
- Easy penetration of cyanide solution
- Large ore reserves
This type of oxidized gold rock is preferred by most mining companies because the blasting, crushing, and grinding processes involved are relatively easy and the overall cost is low. Based on our past production experience, there are two main applicable processes.
- Low grade:directly heap leaching or crushing first and then do heap leaching
- High grade:grinding and sodium cyanide leaching
